Introducing more people to the botanical heritage of the Netherlands and the associated historical stories.
Together, we breathe new life into the botanical heritage!
- each time in a different way.
No experience is necessary — only an interest in the history of plants and the desire to create a large botanical artwork together. You don't need to bring anything.
Everyone is welcome! From young to old, from all cultures and different nationalities, with or without experience or a disability.
Your creative talent and contribution will become part of the Botanical Biography of the province in which you live.
The execution of a biography is led by a local artist.
The event takes place on various dates and at locations to be determined. Please check the agenda and your province's page for details.

After the summer break, work on the Botanical Biography of Utrecht will take place from October 2026 through March 2027.
The province of North Holland is on the program for the second quarter of 2027.
